GENERAL MUSIC CLASS for HOMESCHOOL STUDENTS
A General Music Class for 4th through 8th grade Homeschool students
using MelodyWave(tm).
Tuesdays - 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

UMHB has been selected as one of five (5) music schools in Texas to use a brand new set of instruments called MelodyWave(tm). MelodyWave(tm) Instruments are a set of touch-sensitive batons that communicate with a wireless base station that is MIDI tone generator. In this class, students will learn to read music, will learn about different instruments, and will have opportunities to perform and compose music with the MelodyWave(tm) Instruments.
MelodyWave(tm) Instruments really shine in a general music program. After all, why just teach the students about the orchestra when we can make them into one? Imagine turning the classroom into one great big cooperative piano. We might add a horm section or maybe even toss in a little percussion just to keep things interesting.
