PRIVATE INSTRUCTION

THE CONSERVATORY OFFERS PRIVATE INSTRUCTION IN ALL MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AND IN VOICE. Lessons are individually designed for each student according to age, ability, and personal goals. Students sign up for each 14 week semester.

PRIVATE LESSON TUITION (14 weeks tuition)

14-30 Minute Lessons with Conservatory Faculty = $266.00

14-45 Minute Lessons with Conservatory Faculty = $399.00

14-60 Minute Lessons with Conservatory Faculty = $532.00

14-30 Minute Lessons with UMHB Student Faculty = $236.00

14-45 Minute Lessons with UMHB Student Faculty = $354.00

PRIVATE PIANO INSTRUCTON will be offered for children age seven (7) to adult. Each student will be encouraged to experience a variety of styles from classical to contemporary, from pop to jazz. Emphasis will be given to sightreading skills as well as improvisational techniques. Piano students also pay a $25 supply fee to be used for music books, Student Affiliate and festival fees. (14 lessons)

PRIVATE VOICE INSTRUCTION will be offered to students who are thirteen (13) or older. Voice instruction will begin with basic understanding of breathing and correct vocal production. Students will be encouraged to experience a variety of musical styles. (14 lessons)

PRIVATE INSTRUMENTAL INSTRUCTION will be offered to students who are twelve (12) or older. Instrumental instruction will begin with basic fundamentals of playing and performing. Students will be encouraged to experience a variety of musical styles. (14 lessons)

PRIVATE STRING INSTRUCTION will be offered to students who are four (4) or older. Instruction will begin with basic fundamentals of playing and performing using Suzuki and traditional methods. Private Strings students may enroll in the Suzuki Group program for free. Students will be encouraged to experience a variety of musical styles. (14 lessons)

PRIVATE GUITAR will be offered to students who are four (4) or older. Guitar instruction will begin with basic fundamentals of playing and performing. A limited number of guitars are available for check-out for the semester with a $25 refundable deposit. (14 lessons)
